You will visit Mabamba swamp on the shores of Lake Victoria, the best place to see the legendry Shoebill, Queen Elizabeth National Park with a bird list of over 600 species and abundant wildlife,.Bwindi impenetrable National Park famous for Mountain gorillas and Alberline Rift Endemic species ,Echuya forest, arguably the best place to see the Grauers - rush Warbler in Uganda. Our safari will end with a visit to Lake Mburo targeting the African Finfot, Papyrus Gonolek other species.

After breakfast we shall visit Mabamba Bay on the shores of Lake Victoria. This is arguably the best place to see Shoebill. Other species in the area include, White winged Warbler, Papyrus gonolek, Yellow- backed weaver, Blue headed caucal, Goriath Heron, Black crake. Later continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park set in the Western branch of the Great Rift Valley. The park has a check list of over 600 species which include, Pelicans, Skimmers, Martins, Swallows, Weavers, Canaries, Flamingos and many grassland species Overnight: Mweya Lodge, Jacana Lodge, HippoHill.
Today you will enjoy Bird watching and a game drive in the park. Mammals to be seen include; Hippo, Buffaloes, Elephants, Uganda kob, there are also chances of seeing lions and leopards The afternoon boat trip will give you wildlife up close as you se Hippo, Buffalos, Elephants, Uganda kob and numerous birds on the channel .Birds will include; Pelicans, Great and long tailed Cormorant, African fish eagle, Open billed stork and others. Today leave early heading southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park ,Bwindi's Bird list is impressive and includes ,Yellow-eyed Black Fly catcher ,Blue headed sunbird ,Purple breasted sunbird ,Regal sunbird , Strange weaver ,Montane night jar, Bar-tailed Trogon Black Bee-eater , Bush Shrike, Archers robin -chat, Brown Capped Weaver,Kivu Ground thrush, Montane Masked Apalis, Collared Apalis ,Rwenzori Batis, Red throated Alithe, Archers robin-chat, Mountain illadopsis ,African Green Broadbill,Grauers rush Warbler, Rwenzori Turaco and others Overnight: Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Homestead.
Today's activity may be the most exciting of our entire expedition. You will mix your love of birds with Gorilla tracking with experienced guides some who have been involved in the habitation process of these gentle giants. The chances of locating a group are good. This morning we shall travel to Ruhija area and make a productive stop at the "Neck" looking for regional specialties Overnight: Ruhija Guest House.
We shall descend to Mubwindi; a high altitude swamp birding and our target will be the African Green Broadbill which resides in this area. Overnight; Ruhija Guest House.
Today we have an option of Birding Mubwindi swamp or the Bamboo area.
Later we travel to Kisoro stopping at several locations for regional
specialties.

Today morning we shall visit Mgahinga National Park another special
area for Alberline Rift Endemics The Park is home to Mountain
Gorillas, Golden monkeys and other Wildlife. Key bird species in the
park include ; Rwenzori Turaco,Kivu Ground Thrush, Montane Night Jar,
Alpine Chat ,Dusky Turtle Dove, Handsome Francolin, White-tailed Blue
Fly Catcher, lagdens Bush shrike ,Scarlet-tuftled Malachite sunbird,
Montane Double-collared sunbird ,Narina Trogon, Mountain Yellow
warbler and White napped raven.

After breakfast we shall head to Echuya Forest and our area of
interest willl be Muchuya swamp. This high altitude swamp supports a
high population of Graners Rush Warbler .Other rare species in the
area include; Kivu Ground Thrush, Rwenzori Batis, Strange Weaver,
Dusky Crimson-Wing and other endemics.
Another productive stop will be at the roadside papyrus swamp along
the outflow of Lake Bunyonyi targeting papyrus specialties like the
Greater Swamp Warbler, Papyrus Yellow Warbler, Yellow Bishop, Purple
Heron and Yellow Backed Weaver.
Our destination today is Lake Mburo National Park.
Overnight: Mantana luxury Camp or Rwonyo Camp.
Early Morning We shall Bird watch and take a boat trip on Lake Mburo.
Key bird species in this park include; African fin foot, papyrus
Gonolek, black collared Barbet, Red Faced Barbet and other acacia
associated species. The park harbors large herds of Eland, Topi,
Zebras, Buffaloes, Impala, Crocodiles and Hippos.
Later we travel to Entebbe crossing the Equator arriving in time for
check in for your evening flight back home.
