Overview:
This adventure safari offers you the opportunity to climb Rwenzori
Mountains and visit Uganda's incredibly beautiful National Parks ,
including ,Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi National Park for
Gorilla Tracking, Ishasha Wilderness for tree climbing lions and other
wild life, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Lake Mburo, Ssese Islands
and Jinja the source of River Nile.
ITINERARY;
Upon arrival at Entebbe international Airport, you will be met
by Advantage Safaris Tour Guide and transferred to your hotel for
Safari briefing and a welcome drink.
Over night: Anderita Beach Hotel, Windsor on Lake Victoria.
We shall travel to Kampala city for shopping in supermarkets and
changing money. Later travel to Kasese Town on the floor of the
Western Rift Valley dominated by Rwenzori Mountain Ranges. We shop for
remaining supplies to use while trekking Rwenzori Mountains.
Over night: Margherita Hotel.
After breakfast we shall report to Rwenzori Mountaineering
Services office at Nyakalengija, meet guides and porters, rent
equipment and get final briefing, this is where the central circuit
begins.
The trail passes through farmland crossing River Mubuku and
River Mahoma.Your destination today is Nyabitaba Hut (2651m).
This track is long and challenging and involves climbing and
walking in muddy, slippery terrain up to bamboo forest. You will pass
through high altitude vegetation like Giant Lobelia and Groundsel and
unusual plants and vegetation.
You stay at John Matte Hut (3505m).
You will cross Bujuku River ,lower Bigo Bog, upper Bigo Bog.if the weather is clear ,you will see superb views of Mt.Stanley,continue past cooking pot cave; a very muddy area up to Bujuku Hut(3962m).
From Bajuku continue to Elena Hut(4430) for the ascent of
Magherita Peak on Mt.Stanely(5109m).this climb needs an ice axe,
mountain boots, crampons and ropes.
Overnight: at a hut beside Lake Kitandara.
You will trek along a flat area through colorful moss and
descend to Nyakalengija. Continue to Guy Yeomen close to river Mubuku.
You will have good views of Mt.Baker to the North.
Then descend to Nyabitaba around 5 Hours but with an early start it's possible to make it all the way to Nyakalengija.
The descent from Nyabitaba to Nyakalengija takes 2-3 hours we
travel a short distance from the base of Rwenzori Mt. on the floor
of the Western Rift valley to Mweya.
Overnight: Mweya Safari Lodge, Jacana Lodge, Hostel.
Today enjoy a morning game drive looking for lions, elephant,
buffalos, Uganda Kob and other plains games. In the afternoon enjoy a
boat trip on the Kazinga channel.

We shall travel to Ishasha Wilderness area, the Southern sector
of Queen Elizabeth National Park famous for abundant wildlife
especially the tree climbing lions. This is Africa at its best a
perfect blend of magnificent scenery and abundant wildlife. Your guide
will explain the animal behavior and because of his experience and
expertise will take you to the best locations for the season to
maximize your safari experience.
Over night: Ishasha Bandas, Ishasha Wilderness Camp, Savannah Resort.
We shall have an early game drive looking for animals, later we
travel to Kisoro on the base of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Over night: Travelers Rest Hotel.

After breakfast we shall visit pygmy community near Ichuya
Forest, later continue to Lake Mburo National Park.
Over night: Mantana Luxury Camp, Rwonyo Camp.
We shall have another day in Lake Mburo National Park and enjoy
a morning nature walk with a ranger guide and an afternoon boat trip
on Lake Mburo.
Overnight: Mantana Luxury Camp, Rwonyo Camp.
We shall travel to Ssese Islands in Lake Victoria, the largest
fresh water in Africa and our destination is Bugala Island.
Overnight: Ssese Beach Hotel.
We shall have the whole day in Bugala Islands relaxing or we
enjoy a nature walk.
Over night: Ssese Beach Hotel.
We shall travel to Jinja and along the way we shall visit a
coffee factory and coffee farmers in a rural area. Later proceed to
Jinja on the shores of Lake Victoria and the source of River Nile, the
longest in Africa.
Overnight: Jinja Nile Resort, Hotel Triangle.
We shall have another day in Jinja and activities possible
include white water Rafting, Bungee Jumping, Horseback Safaris, Quad
bike Safaris, and a visit to the central market.
Over night: Jinja Nile Resort, Hotel Triangle.
Morning at Leisure, Day rooms reserved .In the afternoon you will be transferred to Entebbe airport for fight back home.
The price include all ground transport, Park fees as indicated on the itinerary ,all accommodation and meals, Climbing Margherita Peak, Rescue fee, gas and charcoal, Guides, 2porters each carrying 12.5kgs,community Levy, Franchise Fee, a cook, all meals while climbing ; boat trip on the Kazinga channel ,Gorilla tracking, Golden Monkey tracking, and visiting the pygmies.
